Talk about a definite throwback! My hair is obviously not in Marley twists anymore so that should've given the hint. I shot this look a couple weeks ago but totally forgot about posting it.
I've been kind of digging the lace up details in certain styles, so I thought why not just double up the lace up. This dress was one of those 'I wasn't looking for you, but you came into my life finds'. Maybe it's true that the best things in life come to you when you're not looking. But I really like the simplicity of this dress because it allows me to play with multiple styles. Whether I want to pair it with sneakers for a casual chic look or do some layering with a denim or leather jacket I can have different looks with just one dress.

I love lace up shoes and love lace up dresses... on other people. It just seems like too much work for me to find the right dress to wear a lace up top lol. This black and white combo is so edgy :) And as always, I have major hair envy!

That dress was a great find! Very versatile. I've noticed that camouflage has been making a bit of a comeback; I contemplated getting a camo cross body bag (since I love olive green anyway) but then decided against it. Minimalist coats will probably be in again this winter - when is minimalism NOT in, though? - so I've tasked myself with getting a camel coat this year because they go with anything.
