Need New Glasses? Upgrade Now with Glasses Shop

As a resident of the four-eye tribe I have had a very long journey of finding the perfect pair of glasses that frame and fit my face just right. And yes, it has been quite a difficult journey as my eyes are on the wide-set side and a nose bridge does not exist on my face. For a while now, I have been liking the square plastic frame look with the tortoise shell print and luckily GlassesShop.com had just what I was looking for.

I really like these glasses frames because they suit the shape of my face pretty well and aren't too heavy like some of my other glasses. Plus, I like that they're not too dorky looking if you know what I mean, haha.

GlassesShop.com has a wide selection of fashion forward and trendy glasses frames that you can choose from whether it's prescription sunglasses or eyeglasses. And to make things even better you can get 50% off eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses (sale frames excluded) using the coupon code GSHOT50. So, give your eyes an early Xmas present with a new pair glasses! 🤓

Shades of Winter Greys

A totally foolproof way to achieve major style goals is by pairing pieces of one color into your look aka the monochromatic color scheme. But for this instance, I paired light and dark hues of grey for some added texture and depth. I love that this style formula can be applied to any look whether casual or dressed up.

An Edgy & Casual Look

My go-to casual looks typically involves either a sweater or tee paired with jeans but for this look it needed more. I have been really into the fishnet tights trend and what better way to spice up a look than adding a pair of fishnets to the equation. The distressed flare jeans were already pushing it but I wanted to push this look closer to the edge. Adding the fishnets to peak through the holes of my jeans brought my look to a whole new level. I highly suggest buying a pair of fishnets, it's near life changing haha!

How I Wear Houndstooth Print

I'm not really sure what vibe I was going for but just know that I do not work at Exxon and my name isn't Sharon. And, yes, my jacket was thrifted. Just had to put that out there. But besides my coat, I am totally digging these houndstooth printed pants courtesy of Zaful. These pants are actually what I've been wanting for some time because I love the classic print and how it can be worn in various ways.

5 Coats You Need to Achieve Cozy Goals this Fall

Woah, it's been a while since my last blog post and now we are in new season. Hello, Fall, I'm so excited you are here, haha! Actually, I am more excited that I finally get to bring out all of my beloved coats and possibly buy new ones. Thankfully Lyst will help keep me feeling cozy this season with their innovative shopping technology.

I can only agree with Lyst that things are better when they're made for you, which is quite satisfying to know. At the moment I'm on the hunt for coats that will make all of my outfits look and feel cozy. I have rounded up five coat styles that I totally need to add to my fall wardrobe.

The Statement Puffer Jacket | This style of coat used to be hated by the 10-year old me mostly because...marshmallow looks. But now I could totally see myself strutting down the sidewalk like it's Fashion Week still feeling like a marshmallow in a good way. The puffer jacket is a must-have item for this season as it can totally be worn dressed up or down and it'll keep you warm too of course.

The Metallic Coat | Space bunny coming through...no but really if I lived in outer space this would be the coat I'd wear to the moon. Metallic has been spotted everywhere and I don't think anyone would mind wearing a metallic coat paired with their metallic ankle boots. This is definitely coat dressing on another level.

The Velvet Bomber | Ok so if you're not tired of seeing velvet everything...this one is for you. I didn't think I could be so obsessed with a fabric such as velvet. But I'd like to think that a velvet coat is a nice touch to pair with those massively adored slip dresses. Talk about cozy and cute.

The Suede Trench Coat | Time to upgrade to suede and make yourself feel marvelously cozy. The suede trench is a little more heavy duty yet it's so sleek while still holding that classic style. Wearing such a coat would definitely bring your entire look to a more refined and polished state.

The Faux Fur Coat | There's nothing better than feeling like you a big bear gave you a big hug...actually that almost sounds petrifying. But on the bright side there are coats like this faux fur  number that is a lot gentler than an actually grizzly. Looks like I'll be getting a head start on hibernation, haha!

Question of the day: What coat will you be wearing this fall? Let Lyst help you reach your cozy goals!

I Never Wear Pink, But I Do Now

The color of the year award goes to pink and specifically in the shade rose quartz as Pantone has already declared. Notice how this particular color has been circulating around the inters of net from Glossier and ACNE to Drake himself (refer to Hotline Bling)? So is this rosy color the new black? Well, apparently it is and I'd like to think that Mean Girls were way ahead of their time. Surprisingly enough it was a Wednesday when I wore this very pink ensemble.

This look does give off some bedtime vibes which I can dig because comfort levels were on a major 100%. And I can't complain about the silky fabric and oversized fit. I'm not really sure what drew me to pick out this outfit from Dezzal but I do think it's one of my most interesting looks thus far.

End of the Summer Outfits with Tobi | Part 2

This is a sponsored post provided by Tobi; all opinions are my own.

OUTFIT 3 | Need Now: An Open Back Tank

So recently I caught on to this new way to show off skin and it didn't include the very overrated off the shoulder top. The new wave is back-baring tops or tanks. Open back tanks look normal in the front but all the action is in the back. Yea go ahead and show off that cool swimsuit tan you got this summer and maybe break a few necks as they look back at it, hehe! No, but really when I saw this rust colored gem I was like yaaaas! Break free and check out more tops on Tobi.

OUTFIT | Why an LBD is Simply Amazing

We all have our closet staples and I am sure a little black dress is part of that collection. An LBD is a classic and simple piece thanks to its versatility in being able to be paired with just about anything. The amount of different ways that you can wear a little black dress will make your wardrobe and style seem fresh and new. The LBD isn't just a dress, it's the dress. This Tobi shift dress is a new fave of mine, I love the square neckline and slinky straps, hello 90's feels. If you're in need of a new LBD Tobi has tons!
