B E A U T Y: summer beauty favorites

This summer I have been using a few products pretty much everyday and they have been my favorites so far. So I am sharing with you the products that have been taking up most of the space in my beauty drawer.

Starting with the most used product (day and night) is in my opinion the best toner ever invented- the Tea Tree Water Toner from Lush. As a person with skin problems, like the frequent break out, excess oil, blemishes and so much more this product has been the gift from the beauty goddesses. I have tried many other toners, none of them seemed to work out for me, and a lot of them just irritated or dried my skin. I highly recommend this toner as it has natural ingredients and it's super gentle on the skin. So far my skin has been slowly progressing and oil has been easier to control.

Over the years of wearing makeup I have learned that it is important to wear a primer before applying any type of face makeup. During the spring season I went through different trials of  primers and hated every single one. But this summer I found the one! BECCA's Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector has worked wonders in my makeup application. But before buying this product I did get testers and also did my research on the ingredients. Silicone is a major ingredient in a lot of other primers and it is actually not beneficial for people with acne-prone skin. Silicone clogs your pores and traps bacteria in your skin causing your skin to become irritated leading to break outs. Fortunately this primer doesn't include silicone and it does the job by targeting oil and minimizing my pores, without breaking me out.

I love playing with makeup and trying different looks. A way that I like to add color to my makeup look is by using different shades of eyeshadow like this NARS Duo Eyeshadow in 413 BLKR. The purple colors are super fun and really great for a dramatic smokey eye. I also love using the E.L.F. Studio Baked Bronzer in Maui because I like having a sun-kissed look which is perfect for the summer. And the fact that it's only 3 bucks just makes it that much better.

Finally, my favorite summer nail color is this amazing Light Grey Nail Polish from Forever 21(similar). Sometimes in different lighting my nails looks pale blue or a near white. This nail polish is a perfect neutral and also adds a subtle pop to my outfits.
