O U T F I T: the super easy way to wear statement sneakers

When it comes to sneakers I typically opt for simple silhouettes and colors that are easy to pair with everything in my closet. But what about a statement sneaker? Obviously when you are wearing a statement piece you always want the attention to stay on that particular piece. Same goes for styling a statement sneaker. I chose to keep things very minimal and let the sneakers do the talking.

These very retro and eccentric Melody Ehsani x Reebok sneakers incorporate a cool mix of patterns and colors with a variety of colorful laces to top it off. Playing it safe, I decided to wear the two base solid colors of black and white letting the colors on the sneakers be the pop.

There are many ways to wear statement sneakers, but I love a sporty look. A mini tennis skirt and textured pullover are perfect for that urban chill vibe.
