O U T F I T: Star Printed Dreams

-Missguided Star Coat|Jimi Hendrix Tee|VTG Jeans(similar)|Primark Boots(similar)-

Can we just take a moment and just say that my star printed dreams have come true *heart eyes*?! Seriously this faux fur coat is style goals. I just can't get enough! I wore this look to a NYFW show and this is definitely the boldest look I've ever worn. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any real street style photos because it was too cold. Thirteen-degree weather...NO THANK YOU! So instead, I rushed home to get some photos in my room. Womp.

L I F E: NYFW SS16 Recap Part 2

Ok so here is part 2 of my NYFW recap and since there are a lot more photos I decided that it was best to put the photos in thumbnails for easier viewing.

The 2nd show that I attended was the Harbison Collection show of designer Charles Elliot Harbison.
If you guys follow or read any celebrity style blogs you will probably recognize that this is the designer that Beyonce and Solange wore the same color-blocked coats a little while back.

This collection had a very eccentric yet polished aesthetic, from the embellished knits to the mixed prints and fabrics. And the accessories added a cool touch of modern elegance.
Also a special thanks to the people over at Project Cobalt for inviting me out! #cobaltstyle

L I F E: NYFW SS16 Recap Part 1

*I know this is long overdue, but here it is*

This year I was only able to attend 2 shows due to my scheduling with school, interning, and my job (my life in a nutshell). But I am glad to say that the 2 shows that I did attend... they were actually good. The first show was Daniel Silverstain and before the show I had never heard of the designer so I wasn't sure what to expect. I mean I pretty much didn't know what kind of aesthetic he had so that kind of made it more exciting to attend.

As the show was going on, I was doing a lot of Snapchatting and video recording so I waited until the presentation to get better and closer photos. Also, I stupidly forgot my camera because I was rushing out of the house (like usual) so I used my iPhone6 to take photos.

The Daniel Silverstain show definitely made me feel excited about the spring season. I loved the metallics and the pops of primary colors. The patchwork details added character to the garments and just the entire concept was amazing. Also, can we just take a moment for the fact that the runway was SILVER!?

Part 2 of my NYFW recap is coming soon, so stay tuned!

O U T F I T: FROW Fashion with Boohoo USA

-Boohoo Top, Pants, & Shoes|VTG Calin Klein Jacket(similar)|Cat Eye Sunnies(similar)|Sam Edelman Clutch-

I hope everyone has been keeping up with NYFW this season and checking out who's who in the front rows. I attended a show this year and even though I wasn't front row (I sat in the 2nd row) I did have a nice view of those that sat in front of me, many who were known bloggers (Luanna of Le Happy, Jeanne of The Grey Layers and a few others). But if I was sitting front row I would definitely be showing off my retro inspired look all thanks to Boohoo.

For this look, I wanted to stay away from the easy black and white palette and opt for some brick red instead. I'm definitely loving this sleeveless knit turtleneck I just know it'll be a staple in my closet. Also, I can't get over these tie up platform shoes...like talk about an extra 5 inches! And to complete my look I layered on my favorite vintage denim jacket.

If you were sitting front row at a fashion show what would you wear?
Don't forget to check out Boohoo for the latest styles!

O U T F I T: fashion week ss15 challenge

-LF Tee(similar)|Missguided Top|Forever 21 Jacket(similar) & Jeans|H&M Bag|Madison Harding Shoes-

It's that time of the year...NYFW! I totally wish I were able to attend the shows and experience the chaos of fashion people all at once. Since I didn't attend fashion week I have come up with an outfit that I would've worn had I attended. For the most part I did want to maintain a simplicity with very basic pieces yet still keep things a little more interesting. The bralet top allowed me to layer up in an unusual way and create a contrast between the grey and white. I mostly just love how each piece go pretty well with each other. But on the other hand maybe for NYFW f/w15 I'll be able to attend at least one show.

Street style done the right way. One day I'll be able to attend New York Fashion Week, but until then I'll just post whatever is on the internet.
