My comfortable but yet still stylish look that has 'ME' written all over it is what this outfit pretty much is. I love wearing heels with a very easy going outfit that didn't have a lot of thought put into it. And yes I'm wearing that same plaid flannel again. It's just so comfy and perfect for layering! 

I got these perfect leather heels from H&M in the sale section for a fraction of the original price. It was hiding in a corner and it happened to catch my eye. Thankfully it was my size. Once I tried them on I knew that I had to buy them. It was just too good of an opportunity to give up and it was the only pair plus they were on sale(duh). Also the fact that they are leather was another plus to add to the list. Definitely a great buy. These shoes are for sure the essential item in my wardrobe.

MINI FEATURE: My Little Sister

I decided to do a mini feature of my little sister(Alexus) because well she's my sister. Alexus has a style of her own that is very opposite of mine. As sisters we do share a lot of clothes or at least have a few of the same pieces. I'm the type to do black everything as she is more of the do any color everything type.

It's been a while since I've last posted and in between finals and a fashion show(as my final) I haven't had any time to attend to my blog. I'm just glad that this semester is almost over for me-just 2 more finals to go. I can't believe that it's almost Christmas and then it'll be 2014. I'm definitely excited for the new year and new beginnings. But first lets get through Christmas.

I scored this H&M men's flannel shirt during their sale (that I think is still going on) for only eleven bucks. I would like to think that was a good bargain for me at least. It's super cozy and pretty warm. I bought it in a size x-large because I wanted it to be super over sized to the point it's like a dress on me. But I wore it tied up in the front for this outfit. I will be wearing it a lot throughout the winter for sure.

Trying to be cute and warm at the same time is very difficult for me for the fact that I always seem to think it's cool to be in anything cropped all year no matter the temperature. Clearly it's not that cool when my midriff is nearly frozen and I'm shivering uncontrollably. I'm such a sucker for crop tops and sweaters.

By the way I could not get enough of the leafy scenery behind me. The vibrant colors is what I love mostly about fall. And the crunchy leaves that I can never resist to step on.

All black everything. How New York of me, right? Anyway this "78" printed tee is my go to tee for when I'm feeling extra lazy. I found it in the men's section of H&M randomly and I had to get it because I don't own many graphic tees. I wish I did have more graphic tees but I'm so picky when it comes down to buying something with a print. Plus I rarely wear prints because I always feel like I can't repeat them like I do most of my clothing. I guess I'm a basic/essential type of person.

Sorry for the major photo overload! I can never decide to chose just a few photos, it's a problem for real. I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem. It's a process that makes me hungry. But I guess that's what I get for a being a blogger.

On the other hand I can't get enough of this biker moto jacket that I so randomly found while shopping at Forever 21. It kind of came to me and said, "buy me Alicia because you're gonna need me." And I'm glad that I did buy that jacket because it is surprisingly warm for something from F21. Who would've known. Also that perfectly blue vintage sweater that I want to wear everyday is amazing. I of course love the color and it's super warm being the fact that it gots some wool in it. I love a good wool or wool-blended sweater. I need another sweater asap.

Whoa! It's been almost a month since I've posted! Man school, interning, and work has got me extra busy. But besides that, my friend Ashley (fashioncollective) and I pictured above in our coincidentally matching faux fur decided to go up to the highline near Chelsea, NY just for a few pics. We went right before the sun set and what was supposed to be a few pics turned into a full blown photoshoot. I can't believe that I've lived in New York for more than a year and this was my first time actually going up to the highline. I'm so bad when it comes to visiting places.

I am so in love with this blazer that I got from the Urban Outfitters sale. It's so perfectly white and it's probably one the whitest things that I have in my wardrobe(as I rarely wear white). I guess I like to play it safe with black because it's easier to keep clean rather than white. But I am looking in to more white pieces for my closet as a way to brighten things up. I swear I'm always on the hunt for something new to buy.
