How to Wear Red Leather

Long live the king of pop, I couldn't have honored Michael Jackson any better than wearing a graphic tee featuring his Thriller era paired with some red leather. But I'm living for this red leather skirt as it's usually out my comfort zone because I can dig a good black leather skirt any day. Red apparently has been the new black...or any color for that matter haha. Also did you peep my very primary colored accessories?? Bold cobalt blue and that sunny yellow, which I love, made me feel extra colorful!

O U T F I T: Spring Lookbook featuring Tobi

Hey, so we all know that the Spring season means it's time to bring out those flowy dresses, cute skirts, and fun rompers, right? Well, luckily for me, I have teamed up with Tobi.com for a Spring Lookbook just to show you how to style a couple key pieces! It is unfortunately still cold here in New York but if you live in a warm place (lucky you!) I hope these looks will inspire your next Spring outfit.

LOOK 1 | Minimal
Bell bottom pants are all the rave these days so I had to style a pair for myself! This look is all about minimal and chic style with a little touch of denim in the mix. Now, if you're not into bell bottom pants go for a statement jumpsuit as a cool alternative.

LOOK 2 | Flirty
Crop tops are probably always going to be in for the Spring season so I couldn't resist picking this cute flowy piece. Also, I'm not sure why, but this look made me feel like such a flirt, hehe! But I love the color combo of the lavender and orange.

LOOK 3 | Chill
If you've been a long time reader you would know that I am all about the chill vibes. I love feeling comfortable in my clothing especially when I just want to chill. This chartreuse dress probably says the complete opposite but I figured out how to keep the chill vibes by adding my Vans. Now, I could easily upgrade this look from day to night by just adding a cute heel.

I hope you guys liked the looks I put together and if you're on the hunt for some more cute Spring clothes definitely check out more from Tobi here: party dresses, bodysuits, maxi dresses

Also, check out the lookbook video!

O U T F I T: Fake Spring

-Forever 21 Coat(similar) & Turtleneck(similar)|VTG Gap Jeans(similar)|Aldo Boots-

Ok so it's technically Spring but it sure doesn't feel like it. #FAKESPRING In New York it's freezing still and I just don't understand why I'm wearing a turtleneck or even a coat for that matter. I will always be the one complaining about the weather because I just hate the cold.
On a different note, I am so digging these boots! I recorded a March favorites video and these boots were/are a favorite, so stay tuned for a little review on them. In the mean time check out my other videos on my YouTube channel HERE!

I N S P I R A T I O N: My Top 7 Spring 2016 Must Haves

Spring has finally arrived! Yay for color and less coat wearing. I'm super excited for the Spring season(if you can't already tell) because it's a great start to try out new styles and looks.
This season I'm totally loving prints and interesting cuts of different pieces so I wanted to share my top 7 Spring must haves.

1//Kick Flare Jeans | The kick flare jean is a nice upgrade from the flare leg jeans because they are a cropped style which is perfect for the Spring season. This cut of denim looks great on everybody type and adds length to your legs if paired with a cute heel. Things to look for in finding the perfect kick flare jeans is to make sure that they're cropped right above the ankle and the distressing is kept to a minimum.

2//Off the Shoulder Top | There's nothing like finally being able to show off some skin with the new season and off the shoulder tops are perfect for just that. Floral printed OTS (off the shoulder) tops are totally groundbreaking for Spring...duhhh...but also super flattering on everyone. Also, a cropped OTS top looks great with high waisted denim or pencil skirts.

3//Lace Up Pointy Shoes | The lace up trend has been seen on everything from tops, dresses, denim, and more. This season I'm liking the trend more on pointy-toed shoes rather than on clothes because I think that the lace up look is very chic when on a shoe. I also really love the low chunky heel look and pairing it with kick flare jeans is a great combo.

4//Floral Pants | Florals...I know...but you can't run away from the print. A great way to incorporate florals is with a pair of loose fitting pants instead of opting for the typical Spring floral dress. Also, think vacation looks 2016, strolling around Barcelona in an airy floral pant and your fave sandals #yaaaas!

5//Platform Ankle Boots | Believe it or not, but platform ankle boots are totally still hot. Talk about instant legs for days! This 70's style boot is perfect for Spring because you could totally wear these with flared jeans or a floral mini dress. Also, transitioning these to wear in the colder months will be so easy.

6//Colored Lens Sunglasses | It's ok if you have to throw shade because it's sunny...hehe. But really a fun way to add color to your life is with a pair of colored lens sunnies. Plus this style is a great alternative to the mirrored style. And to really have some fun opt for a pair that has a cool shape like cat eyes or even big round ones.

7//Novelty Bag | Ok so yes, bucket bags are all the rave now but what about something that's really daring and way more fun? Yep, I declare the novelty bag is making it's way and I'm glad it is. I love this style because it's a great statement accessory and just darn cute!
