Little Black Patent Leather Miniskirt

There are so many trends gracing every bloggers' Instagram, the internet, and street in general. My fave trends this season are the patent leather miniskirt and fishnets. This high shine miniskirt achieves a bit of funk to just about any look and the fishnets are for added edginess, of course. Paired with a simple white cropped sweater to create a nice balance of contrast. But I didn't just stop there, I went for a bigger impact by adding my new fave fuzzy socks from the Fenty x Stance Socks collection. And speaking of new, after waiting a few weeks for a back in stock email notification I scooped up these super comfy ankle boots from Lulus.com.

O U T F I T: BBHMM Rihanna Halloween Costume

-Fur Coat & Boots |H&M Dress(similar) & Necklace(similar)|Ricky's Wig-

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! This year I wanted to actually go all out and really wear a costume that wasn't a cat. My costume is inspired by Rihanna's Bitch Better Have My Money iHeartRadio's Awards show performance ensemble. I loved her very green Versace look as it reminded me of a modern day Lil' Kim get up. This costume made me have to get real creative and messy.

Finding a green fur coat similar to Rihanna's was not happening for me. I tried as many vintage stores as possible and nothing. So I decided that I was going to have to make my own. I probably could have easily bought a white fur coat and dye it green, but that was just too complicated. So I relied on Amazon to come to my rescue and I found a green furry monster costume. Since the monster costume was full body, I had to DIY a fur coat by cutting the legs and hands off. Sadly, though, when the costume arrived in the mail the color was way off from the product image so I had to spray paint the fur a brighter green.

The boots were just as much of a hunt as the coat was. I couldn't find pointy toe flat thigh high boots in a green color or any color for that matter. So I had to settle with a gogo thigh high boot style. And then the boots only came in black and white so green spray paint was used once again.

Once I went out many people recognized my costume which was exciting. I hope you all are having a wonderful Halloween! I'm off to yet another costume party this time I'm going to be gold glitter--simple but still fun. My sister and friend are going as silver and red glitter so we're pretty much The Glitter Puff Girls, haha!

Rihanna for River Island SS13 Campaign

I love how this campaign is so Rihanna. Her style is definitely shown well in every piece. Too bad River Island is mainly UK, Rihanna nedds to bring her shit to the US (collab with H&M, maybe). I just love Rihanna and her kick-ass style!
